Some considerations prior to installation

Pre-installation

1. Flow and return from the boiler / heating source must be installed within the wall cavity (fig.1).

2. A stud / dry wall installation would be most straight forward. With the stud wall in its first fix stages you would have access to the wall from both sides allowing easy installation of FloBar pipework prior to the first sub surface being applied.

3. A solid wall installation is a little more involved. The system will need to be accurately marked out on the wall surface and then an adequate amount of the wall surface channelled out. If access can be gained from the opposite side of the wall this is also a viable option. But it will still be necessary to channel out the wall surface in order to bury the pipework. Alternatively, a false wall could be erected to conceal the FloBar system, but it is necessary to leave a minimum of 50mm gap to house the pipework and manifold components.

4. Alternative option for an installation involving a single valve and manifold installed above a ceiling or within another convenient, concealed location. This system should be installed with isolating valves that are supplied.
